We spent few days there, but I think even a day trip would be a lovely experience, focus on the main town and maybe the Il Postino Beach too, and you´ll love it for sure! So receiving the car was a little bit awkward at first, 😅 Two young and friendly guys were waiting for us at the airport, they asked us for the money we agreed on WhatsApp (no deposit) and immediately gave us the keys. I asked them if they had a receipt or if we had to sign something, they seemed confused and then they called the owner and he told us to not worry at all because we had agreed full insurance included. We kind of understood that things there were not so strict formal as we are used to in other destinations. We delivered the car in Goreme Bus Station as you can see in the video and another guy was there on time waiting for us and got the keys and greeted us. Then the owner sent us a message thanking us and that´s it. So no hidden costs, no delays, all fast and simple, it may sound weird as you don´t have any papers with a contract, but we rented scooters in some Asian countries in similar ways in the past. I compared prices and reviews and Temas had the best in the area, I saw other RUclipsrs who used it, so we gave it a try and it was the perfect choice for us. Thanks for watching! All the drone clips in our Cappadocia videos are from Storyblocks. At least last year you needed to get a special permit from the Turkish government to fly legally in Turkey, then you need to follow some guidelines, one of them was to be with a Turkish national in any moment while you´re operating your drone, so this point for us was impossible and we didn´t try to get the permit at the end. We have seen foreigners that flew the drone in Turkey recently without any locals supervising them, so we supposed they took the risk to fly without following that rule. Just be careful as we saw an American RUclipsr who was arrested by the police in Istanbul for flying his drone, they released him after few hours, but we prefer to not put ourselves in those risky situations while travelling. Thanks for watching! We landed at Cagliari airport and rented a car there. We have posted a whole Travel Series of Sardinia with details about transportation and accommodation, you can check all the places that we visited in chronological order and decide where to go, it´s difficult for us to choose, but if you go 10 days, we advise to focus in the East and North of the island this time, as those were probably our favourite places, we visited some incredible places in the West too, but not that many. The rules for car hiring are the same that in the rest of the European Union, we strongly advise to get a full insurance with the car rental company, as the roads sometimes were not great, there will be much more traffic in August too, we visited in May before the high season started. The name of the B&B in Airbnb was "Heart of the Countryside", you should be able to find it in their web with that name, but we went there in 2020 and sometimes the owners change the name or remove their properties from the web. In Ireland it´s really important to book few months in advance too, as there are not so many accommodations available and in the summer there are a lot of tourists and locals travelling to the countryside. Good luck and if you cannot find this B&B, any option near the Hook Lighthouse would be great for sure! Wish you have a wonderful trip to Wexford.

We stay late for sunsets and Chano wakes up for every sunrise too, so we try to minimise the driving distances by booking different B&Bs. We couldn´t find a single location to move from there, as distances can be long, Sardinia is bigger than it may look in the maps, some locations have dirty roads to get to them too. If you don´t want to change hotels that much, then Baunei could be a good option to visit the East of the island, but reaching the North or the West from there is gonna be more time consuming. There are a lot of mountains in Sardinia, so expect roads with constant curves too. You´ll love it there no matter where you go or how you organise it! Wish you have a wonderful trip to Sardinia!

We wanted to visit so many places but our limited time won’t allow us. There are so many negative things that tourism brings but we also cannot deny how it helps a country’s economy. I do not agree with disrespectful, loud and uncultured tourists. I hate big resorts that destroy the natural beauty of places.

We visited Sardinia in early May, now in June it´s gonna be a little bit busier, but still not crowded like July and August. The best advice we can give you, if you want to have the beaches for yourself, it is to wake up early and get there in the morning if you can. 😊 Also be sure that you book your Cala Goloritze tickets in advance if you´re planning to hike down to the beach, the limit of people per day is not very high.
